ADMISSION
Though the school is a catholic minority
institution, the school is open to all, irrespective of their religious
affiliations. Admissions are made by the Principal based on the norms of
selection and availability of seats. Every candidate for admission must be
introduced by the parents/guardian who will be responsible for his/her conduct,
progress in academic performance, discipline and payment of fee. The Principal
reserves the right of refusing admission to a pupil without ascribing any reason
for it. He also reserves the right of refusing continued studies to any pupil
whose conduct is found unsatisfactory or who is not benefiting by his/ her
study in this school. Transfer Certificates will be issued only when the
parent/guardian applies for it, after all the dues till the date of application
have been cleared. Duplicate of Transfer Certificate will not be issued unless
the request is supported by an affidavit signed by
notary
public stating the reason for the request. Pupils are responsible to conduct
themselves well on and off the premises. Hence, misbehavior in public places,
streets and conveyances is sufficient reason for dismissal from the school. The
students are selected on merit basis. Students seeking admission to
kindergarten and std. I should produce the original birth certificate at the
time of admission along with application form. Students should produce two
passport size photographs at the time of admission. Promotion of the students
is based on the general progress during the academic year. Attendance is also a
criterion for promotion. Those who do not secure at least an overall D grade in
the annual exams and have less than 75% attendance shall not to be promoted to
the next higher class. Registrations for new admissions are completed by the
month of December every year. All students will have to appear for the entrance
test. The selected students have to produce their promoted TC with the mark
list at the time of admission. The decision taken by the school authority is
final.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Children are admitted in the school for classes KG I to Grade X. The minimum age for admission of KG I is three and half, as on 31st May.
However, the admissions
for classes KG II to Grade X will be considered as per the availability of
seats in each class.
Application form has to be duly filled up and submitted in the school office within 5 days. Intimation about the availability of seats and
the date for the admission process will be informed over the phone. New admission will be purely based on merit.
The
following documents in original must be produced at the time of admission.
1. Birth certificate 2. Community certificate 3. Transfer certificate 4. Mark statement
Application
for KG admission will be issued from the school office on first week of
October.
